WOLDS END ORCHARD
Our thanks to Derek & Judy Tolman of Bernwode for sharing their expertise with us and for their invaluable support during our campaign to save Wolds End Orchard.
Passionate about making the countryside a better place for everyone to live, work and enjoy, CPRE Gloucestershire were a massive support to us during our campaign.
The Campden Society joined the Gloucestershire Orchard Trust this year https://glosorchards.org/home/. In the summer GOT Orchard expert and co-chair Martin Hayes visited to provide us with advice and share his extensive knowledge about fruit trees and orchards. Martin returned in September to lead a pruning workshop, so we have the skills to keep our young trees in good form over the coming years.
Steve Oram from Ptes gave us an immense amount of help and support, in our quest to turn Wolds End Orchard into a Community Orchard and Nature Reserve.
